Former East-West Center Staff member Rose Nakamura (ASSOC ’07) was awarded one of ten Inspire Awards from AARP Magazine on December 8, 2009 at a ceremony in Washington, DC.

Rose finds herself in prestigious company of this national award, given to those of or over the age of 50, with the likes of recipients Glenn Close, Quincy Jones, and past recipients Caroline Kennedy, Gary Sinise, Gladys Knight, and Tom Brokaw, to name a few. Continue reading →
