Dear EWCA Alumni,

The East-West Center will hold its International Media Conference in New Delhi, India on September 8-11, 2016 with the theme “South Asia Looking East.” The Center’s last International Media Conference was held in Yangon, Myanmar in 2014 and drew more than 400 attendees including journalists, policymakers, business professionals and EWC alumni.

In conjunction with the 2016 Media Conference, we plan to hold a special session for East-West Center alumni followed by a reception. This is a perfect occasion for all alumni to join the conference and attend a reception to meet and talk with EWC staff including:

Noreen Tanouye, Alumni Coordinator and Susan Kreifels, Media Program Manager

Eleven years have passed since the memorable 2005 South Asia Regional Conference was held in New Delhi. Many EWC South Asian Alumni attended the 2005 conference where new friendships were made and longtime friendships were renewed. This will be an opportunity to come together again.
