As a geographer and having been married to a physical oceanographer, the issue of global warming strikes me as a lot of misplaced hype based on climatological ignorance and a continuing lack of accountability in people’s misuse of their environment. Their “pet theory” attempts to pass the buck and blame the successful economies, such as USA and Europe that are actually making strides on water and air contanimation, plus recycling, thereby minimizing their negative effect on environment while rest of world is pronounced “innocent”. Sadly too few individuals, including reporters, are aware of solar cycles and solar system cycles. Nor is credit given to God for being in control of this earth and universe and for keeping humankind alive these many centuries in spite of human behavior. RE accountability by humans, just consider the desertification that is due to overgrazing, deforestation for fuel and inappropriate land use in general. Are there massive efforts to change those behaviors? Where are the ethical leaders in those countries?
