The Annual Hawaii Chapter Meeting and Fundraiser Dinner for 2008 was a massive success! Thanks to all the hard work of the Hawaii Chapter Board members, the event went without a hitch. There was lots of good food, good company, great items to bid on in the auction and lots of great items to purchase from the bazaar. To cap off the evening there were four student groups that performed for the crowd of over 120 – Thai Sala Dancers, a Vietnamese folk song, a lovely Hindi rendition of “A Kiss to Build a Dream On” and Malaysian music.

Proceeds from the dinner ticket sales and auction and bazaar sales go to support the East-West Center Student Travel Grants. A special mahalo to all who attended and helped out. We are looking forward to next year’s dinner!
